Freedom To Glide

Freedom to Glide (f2g) is a British progressive rock band that masterfully combines sophisticated compositions with powerful and thought-provoking storytelling.
At the musical and artistic heart of f2g are Andy Nixon and Pete Riley. Their collaboration began when they performed together in the Pink Floyd tribute show Dark Side of the Wall. Their shared passion for exploring profound themes through music eventually led to the formation of Freedom to Glide.
Andy Nixon plays a central role in the band as lead vocalist, lead guitarist, principal songwriter and producer. His musical vision is perfectly complemented by Pete Riley, whose contributions as a composer and keyboardist are an essential part of the band’s sound. Riley is also responsible for much of the band’s visual identity.
Through his video productions and album artwork, Riley ensures that Freedom to Glide’s visual world is every bit as cohesive and compelling as their music. The result is an immersive experience in which music, imagery and storytelling come together as one.
As Freedom to Glide continue to evolve, Nixon and Riley remain committed to their core principles: powerful storytelling, emotional honesty and musical innovation. They are currently working on new material that explores fresh themes and musical directions while retaining the depth and emotional intensity that fans have come to expect.
With plans to expand their live activities and reach new audiences, the future looks extremely promising for Freedom to Glide.
